Learn the skills to execute a variety of safe and effective movements and a flowing class in this one day PilatesFit teacher training. This program covers class design and exercise sequencing, attention to safety, alignment and cueing, and exercise modifications for various levels.
PilatesFit focuses on what Joseph Pilates called “The Powerhouse,” also known as the trunk, torso, or core of the body. We focus on strengthening the deep internal supporting muscles as well as the exterior, superficial muscles. The widespread need for flexibility, core strength, and body awareness in a simple and effective group class or private training setting. We follow the YogaFit Three Mountain format, and we recognize that it takes time and practice to be able to control our body, our breath, and our movement.
